Type C / Conductive Bags

These FIBCs (also known as “Type C Bags”) have interwoven conductive threads which are all reliably interconnected and MUST BE GROUNDED. A dangerous static charge is safely dissipated to the ground. Type C bags do not cause any discharges. But the most important condition is a reliable connection to the ground during filling and emptying operations. Conductive threads must be interconnected with less than 107 ohms and must be grounded during filling and emptying operations. Some Type C FIBCs have inter-connected conductive loops to enable grounding via a (grounded) hoist system. When grounded properly there is no risk of discharges.
